So, I thought this up as a joke post rather than anything else. Perhaps you will find it interesting. Perhaps not. Either way, this is Sam the traveller, through the ages…. Warts and all!
- Nepal, May 2005: A rather shy and inexperienced traveller here. My first tourist outing in Nepal. Looks back it’s quite embarrassing now! lol
Brisbane, Australia, Nov 2005 - My Universe had been transformed. I was hooked, travelling was my destiny
Rampur, Nepal, Early 2007: Back with my Nepali Family
Lahore, Pakistan Oct 2007. Well and truly on the road during my Muslim 'phase'. Good times!
London, England, Dec 2007: Out and about sighting seeing, looking like a f*****g hippy!
Northern Iraq, July 2008: Baran and I. Well and truly alive, and now a proper traveller!
Jessore, Banglaesh, Aug 2009: Back on the road after an 10 month stint in England...
Rampur, Nepal, 2009: Nepal again. My Spiritual home. I can't help but returning to see my Nepali family!
Ben Slimane, Morocco, Oct 2010: Good times amongst the sun picking Olives!
Sulima, Sierra Leone, January 2011: Pushing my boundaries in West Africa, and loving every minute (Ok I didn't really enjoy getting Malaria!)
Koure, Niger, July 2011: Africa was well and truly in my blood by this time. Where would my next move be?
Back in England, Aug 2011: Got that travelling look (and feeling) again!
Aug 2011: Catching up before getting back on the road to China, to start my next adventure.
So, I hope you enjoyed seeing the evolution (or perhaps Revolution in some images!) of Sam the traveller! One thing I’ve learnt from the road is that appearance count’s for little (what you wear however makes a BIG difference!), hence the constant changes. Be yourself and people will accept you, regardless of your ‘style’, (or lack of, in my case!)
